Yea if you get the badlanzz kit everything you need is in te kit but you will need a little extra Wire to hook it up to the #4 aux switch power wire to supply power to it I posted te link to the kit I ordered earlier in the thread and gsxr explained how to wire it all in to the switch as far as the actual motor wire( grey wire coming from the cutout motor) I ran mine threw the Frame and tiled it up under the passenger side wheel well and then passed it through the rubber wire harness plug on the right side and then under the glove box and center consol to the steering column if you need pics let me know I'll take some tomorrow and show you how I ran the wires and hooked it up. Oh and one more thing as gsxr mentioned earlier in the thread te 10 foot cable that comes with it won't teach all the way to the driver side under the steering wheel so I bought the 15 foot cable just to make sure I had enough to run it where u wanted it and again if you want I can take pics and show you if you need them.

The 15' wire worked out perfectly it have me enough to hide te switch right under the steering wheel:waytogo:

I took out my sway bar last weekend and I ran it in the dirt today I love the feeling of the true independent suspension it's awesome! I'm jealous about your stage 3 kit I'm trying to save up for one before the Texas run I've heard nothing but great things about rpg's kits you have to let us all know how it works out I'm anxious to hear about it.

I'm on te middle perch right now and it's awesome I think it's the best set up IMO! But once I get the stage 3 kit like you have I might go to the top perch cause I really like the trophy truck stance

Yeah pictures would be great if you have them pat. I can't hook it up to my Aux 4 switch. I have my blue EL Glow strip hooked up to that. The rest are not being used though. Did you get the extra wire from that company or somewhere else?:)

Your not using the actual switch your just taping into the wire coming from the switch for power it should be the brown wire.

This is where I mounted the Motor tucked up and then ran the wire through the opening of the frame
photo-34.jpg

I then brought the wire out right by the passenger side wheel well on the outside of the frame
photo-39.jpg

After running it out the outside of the frame I tucked the wire up behind the cab mount between the frame and the cab so its out of the way and then up to the wheel well*
photo-35.jpg

This is looking down from the top of the engine bay you can see how I ran the wire up behind the passenger wheel well
photo-36.jpg

After running it up the wheel well I ran it through the wire bundle into the cab of the truck passed through the rubber plug underneath it as shown an font worry about pinching the wire there isn't enough pressure pushing on it to do anything
photo-38.jpg

After passing it through the wire harness and into the cab I then tucked the wire up an ran it through the back of the center console to the driver side where I mounted the switch under the steering column*

*Wiring the power to the switch you are gonna need to buy some 12 gauge wire to run power to the actual switch and the ground wire as well. I wired mine to the #4 aux switch now I didn't use the actual switch I just tapped into the power wire to power the switch to the cut out. I used a simple wire splice to tap into it. Hope this all helps.*

What kit did you order?? The badlanzz is by far the best one

By looking at te pics and having pretty much the same thing in my kit it would go like this 1. The gasket 2. The motor/cutout 3. The Metal ring to hold it all to the cut out

That's what I was thinking but the gasket does not sit flush on the y pipe. There is that lip and nothing sits flush.

Thinking about returning DMH and purchasing the Badlanz...

The flat part of the gasket goes against the y pipe and once you put the motor on an tighten everything down the gasket will form to everything once it's on.

I've heard of the DHM kit not fitting with everything but you can try it the way I explained an see if that will work.

Here's what it looks like with only the gasket and cap. You can see how it isn't sealed and my concern is leaking.

And yes, these nuts/bolts are tightened completely.

Wow from the first picture I would say that the y pipe is bent that's why you have that gap there. That's a terrible design if thy messed it up like that. Do you still have that gap with the motor on there too? It should go y pipe then gasket motor then ring if you could get some pics with it like that then that would be great and if there is still a gap I would definitely send those pics to DHM and tell them about it a request a refund and go buy the badlanzz kit
