That's good news. I like knowing that it holds up.. I'm going to bite the bullet and have it done soon.. I wish I had the time to do it myself but after reading your experience, I'm going to pay to have it done..

Marty, any issues with de-badging you truck? I plan on stripping mine this weekend - any tips would be appreciated!

No issues de-badging.

A couple of short sticks and some heavy duty fishing line... do a sawing motion back and forth. Cuts right through the tape.

I used some 3M glue remover spray to help with getting the residual tape off the truck. It doesn't affect the paint.

Get some 3M automotive 2 sided tape to put badges back on.

Good luck and post some pics of your truck when you finish.

Also, post any tips or tricks you find when doing it.

Congrats on a great job. Did you mention how much total money you had in materials?

I am guessing around $900. I ended up buying some more wrap to do the flares which I didn't calculate into original roll of vinyl. Tools and stuff was additional. Not bad though.

I am trying to figure out my next color to do in a couple years.
