I did a zip tie through some sort of a cross hatch of plastic and around door so I didn't have to worry too much about something else falling down into my fan again. Then eventually I had the door replaced when the dash came out for the clicking actuators and heater core.

Ok...... I think this might be the problem I have. @MurderedOutSVT Dose it sound like a 747 is flying over the truck? and the dash is about to shake a part? If so......... I know my next project.

Yep.... thats a good decription.

Its really not a hard fix, but the upside down and backwards act under the dash and the one click at a time ratcheting is what sucks. You can get away without jamming the freshair vent closed, it will work fine
