Dealer capped IWEs Off

My 2017 (67k) recently started showing symptoms of IWE issues. I took it in today to have it looked at. The dealer removed the vacuum lines and capped off them per TSB 24-2188.

I’m frustrated as this TSB specifically says it applies to non-Raptor 150s. Instead of identifying the issue with the vacuum system they removed it. I’m going to call the service manager tomorrow to discuss.

I believe they should have pinpointed the issue and corrected it. Anyone else experience this?

@FordTechOne I would greatly appreciate your insight on this issue. What should the dealer have done? What are the potential issues with leaving the vacuum lines capped off?

@FordTechOne replied to a similar post a few years back. Thought it was about the Gen 2 at first.

MPG should be the only negative.

Probably should of looked for the issue but the TSB was an easy out lol.

My local dealer became Helen Keller when it was IWE issues on the Gen 1/2, when under warranty.
