Yep, you have to run the stock tune through a few drive cycles.. It will make the changing tunes will be buried. Most techs will not be very through and read the whole file.. If that makes sense..

Yeah that's why I did it a couple days ago, the tech didn't mention anything so I guess I'm good... Time to put the 5-Star 91 Performance Tune back in!

Ok... So I go down to my truck this morning after not driving it all the day prior because I wanted to drive my RSX around just to see what I wasn't missing anymore lol, and the damn battery was dead AGAIN! A brand new battery drained in a day...? Then I realize, shit I left the LiveWire plugged into the ODB-II Port and turned on... One day was enough to kill that big ass battery! Apparently the draw is more than I expected, and it will stay unplugged until they upgrade the units firmware to shut off immediately after engine shutdown! That's just plain rediculous....

Fyi I have been unplugging mine. I live it plugged in overnight but only if I know I will be using the truck the next day. I still have the original battery that died from the livewire abd I didn't drive it for a few days but the live wire was unplugged and the truck fired right up the next time I drove it

Did you call 5Star...that is a buzz kill...that was one of the things that had me leaning towards upgrading from the SCT, was that you just set up,the live wire and forget it...that is not good...I would forget to unplug it without a doubt...then I got to put a sticker on my dash remind me to unplug it....

Let us know what you find out...and yes update ASAFP...

OK---I did a lot of research and decided to go with the Die Hard AGM battery last month. The specs are brutal as is every review I could find. I have had 6 different Optima batteries and while they were great 20 years ago they have slipped a little because the competition has just gotten better.

The AGM is the way of the future esp with power cells that have to exist in hostile high vibration environments. In my job the 270 volt Raptor PDC batteries were part of one of the systems my team was responsible for. Having access to a actual Dr in this area has educated me tremendously. In short cells shorting are the biggest issue we face in extreme vibration—the AGM eliminates this. Also to keep and this may sound stupid but if you have a vehicle that is not a daily driver say once a week or less----put a float charger on it will keep the battery almost like new.

Quite a bit of what you read is hype to some degree or another--find hard testing data.

Per fords website..........

Class-Exclusive High-Intensity Discharge (HID) Headlamps*

HID headlamps have these benefits over halogen bulbs:
Produces 2.3 times higher output
Consumes 20 percent less power
Lasts longer

So it is definitely not the headlights left on for 5 Minutes.
