Weep hole drilled (1/16"). Nothing came out. Bone dry.

I was going to write that I would at least take it to the dealer once to replicate the issue and have it noted as a problem (hopefully be repaired) before you drilled but you work fast.

Thanks for experimenting and promising that nothing came out. Hope you keep us posted as to how everything ends up.

Huh. Quick test drive just now. Its actually smoother. Not sure why though. Still bone dry. Nothing came out of the hole.

Probably slower too now.

So there's that I guess.

Well I guess it's just a pipe. You can always clog the hole and show the dealer the difference?

Don't take it to the dealer now.

He will tell you the problem is that you have a hole in your intercooler.

Lol. No worries there. The service manager is an old friend. The hole is super tiny as well.

Same regulated boost pressure. Should not be any performance difference. its a SUPER tiny hole. If anything the turbos need to work a trace amount harder. I doubt the stock BOV seals completely either.

This is normal. You will not see anything dripping out while it is idling or off. The condensate builds during the drive cycle and gets ingested under acceleration (blows out / compromises spark). The weep hole allows that stuff to release to the atmosphere while in operation. Put a camera down there and drive around to watch it drain.
I am glad that this is helping you!!

Have you seen a weephole weep while the vehicle is in operation? Don't lie.

I have the exact same surging issue, and I'm in the desert where the average humidity is about 10%. Been running 91 octane since new and felt the surging since the beginning.

I have the stuff to run Forscan and log parameters, just haven't had the time. Feels almost like mild spark blowout. Will log throttle, timing, knock, and boost to start. Be interesting to check sp gap also.
