Not technically. However that process seemed to perform the necessary resets. Been mulling over this issue with a ford master tech friend of mine and ford has made some memory changes in the pcm of later model vehicles. This is why the battery disconnect procedure for a KAM reset aren't working (sasquach will chime in and say it was done wrong) but this is likely not the case. Modules should be reset at the dealer using ids. Sending a stock truck with the same issues to him sometime next week to try to narrow this down a bit. With my particular case it was not a tune that resolved my issue it was the resets required to export the stock tune...

Yeah, I just need to remove my PC and BM and take it in to the dealer.

Dallas. Why do you ask?

Ouch. If you were near the Virginia area I could probably get you hooked up with no hassles.

I've got another forum member with an appointment for Wednesday coming in with a bone stock unit exhibiting similar issues. Hopefully by the end of the week I'll be able to post findings and what dealer procedure will be most appropriate.

Smokeshow60 do you work at a Virginia dealer? Reason I ask is I would love to bring my truck to a forum member for service and work. Thanks

Yes sorry for not posting earlier.. no problems found with the 2018 truck. The owners other car is a Cadillac so he thinks he's likely adapting to the difference between the two. Can you describe to me a little better what you are experiencing?
