Yes sorry for not posting earlier.. no problems found with the 2018 truck. The owners other car is a Cadillac so he thinks he's likely adapting to the difference between the two. Can you describe to me a little better what you are experiencing?

Yep- the best way to describe it, is it feels like it's missing under 3/4 to full acceleration. And between gears, not while shifting. Like a misfire or fuel starvation feeling. Just slight surging, not major. But enough to realize it's not smooth. I've tried 87, 89 and 93 octane fuels. It does it with and without the PedalCommander and BoostMax, or any combination of them.

Best described as a miss or a vibration?

Miss for sure. Not vibrationish at all.

Mine was the same way, under full throttle above 4K rpm it had a slight miss/surge.. I ran some 100 octane gas through it, and a few tanks of good 93 after that. It seems to have cleared it up.

Ok. If there is a miss of any kind it should be easily documented through a power balance test. . This requires a data logging session. I'm gonna pm you my phone number so if you wish we can discuss these issues and I can explain (without typing too much) some of the issues I've had and what I believe are the the root cause of them.

Im subscribing, My 18 with 2000 miles does it a lot. Thought I was crazy, but it has the same issues that FatBouy is having. Full throttle is fine though. very curious about the pedalcommander also.

I even thought it could be too much tire pressure and maybe getting the tires slipping a little in rear. Going to put rear at 33 and see if that helps. Also going to fill up with non-ethanal 93 which will be between 4-5 bucks a gallon. Not staying with that fuel. Just to run any 87 out.

Don’t fight it guys...it’s just the way it runs for a while. I finally gave up and just rode’er hard to have fun. I’ve got 6k and don’t notice anything but one hard pulling ‘17 Raptor.

The motor is way different than the 6.2 V8 for sure.
The truck rides a lot different than the Gen1 ‘12 in a big way...definitely lighter in the butt, aka squirrely.

But...it’s all good now.
