Powerstop is just pads and rotors. The calipers are just red painted remanufactured. Not going to make a big difference. The Powerstops are still 4 pistons and the Alcons are 6. 70% of braking is done up front so I think if you just got the front kit that's all you'd need.

Although the Power Stop kit is factory sized stuff the pads and rotors are upgraded over stock, plus having fresh calipers makes a big difference from worn and tired factory stuff.

Why so bitter? The people who have posted here only provided helpful info to answer OP’s question. Not sure why you’d want to G1 section to be a ghost town, but whatever.

And BTW, “fresh” calipers offer zero improvement when the originals are still working properly.

Pads and rotors maybe, but like @FordTechOne said, there isn't a difference as long as they are working as intended.

Yep. All F-150s had dual piston sliding calipers for both generations. New GM trucks come with 4 piston fixed calipers, haven’t heard much about any performance differences between the two though.

Typical Gen 2 owners getting upset when the Gen 1 people give them anything remotely resembling sarcasm. Maybe Starbucks will be open later to calm your nerves. The angry and facepalm reacts remind me of Facebook. lol

Then the brackets. Need to order 2 of them. Wait until after you get your calipers to make sure you order the correct brackets.
