Axle problem on 2017 Raptors (news)

I read about that online but I never received a call and my order went forward with no delay. IDK maybe my dealer sucks and didnt contact me or maybe it was pulled already IDK but there just seems to be a lot of rumors circulating all over this forum on the gen 2s lately. I'll wait and see what happens before I really start getting concerned which is more what I meant regarding the CF comment.

Nah you played it right for sure. I think they had some CF since some trucks are getting it. My dealer said he'd have a chance to pull it if it was an issue. And it was so I pulled it.

No clue about axle issue though.

Are the raptors being assembled at the plant in Kentucky? Ford it is idling the plant for a week due to soft demand in general. That could Explain any delay.

I believe that as with Gen 1 Raptors they are built in Dearborn.

KTP builds the F250+ trucks.

Kansas City is the other F150 plant but they seem to handle more of the fleet trucks and long beds. All Raptors are built at Dearborn.

Talked to the facebook reps on monday and they said there was no hold up that they could see and that my raptor was still being built today.....

For what it's worth, after the initial post about the halt, my window sticker went live with a build date that improved by three days from previous status and current status is "in production" build date is 10/19 and I have an eta to dealer.

That's my point. All of these "issues" people talk about on here have never been proven to be true.
