I think thats it. All their prototypes have parts that were on-offs. Made just for their few trucks. Probably locally in the US. Now that the parts are mass produced for main production, they resource some parts from other counties. That's where quality issues can occur

See, that makes absolutely zero dang sense to me.

"Howdy, Bubba! How's yer test Raptor a-runnin' with all them fancy one-off parts? "

"Why howdy that, Cletus! Everthang be a-workin' jist fine! We'll tell ol' Horace in production to start makin' em up with completely differ'nt parts from the ones we've been a-testin".

Same, still set for 10/24. However, there are a number of customer who had their build dates/ETA moved. FWIW, the Ford Rep I spoke to said that he hasn't seen an unusual amount of build date bump outs.

I just got an update from Ford Service. My SCREW was originally scheduled for Nov 2, it is now scheduled for Nov 6. It is only a 4 day move, so no biggie. I'll keep my fingers crossed that Nov 6 holds.

it's not so much different parts. It's mass produced vs small batch production. same parts, mass produced on a large scale you have a much higher chance of running into quality issues.

That's cool. Your Hillbilly thing was hysterical. I do this for a living and understand how prototype pieces are, compared to mass produced items. You obviously do not.

The parts are not different in design, but different in the way they are made. That makes a huge different in quality and performance
