To be able to leave the key in your pocket, unlock and open the door in one motion and push button start without a key would be awesome.
How about heated steering wheel, hell I would trade my heated seats for that.

Never knew how nice a heated steering wheel was until I got my BMW. It's the one feature I'll really miss about my BMW when my truck comes in.

I care. I don't care that it's a truck. The technology should be there in the top tier model.

I agree. And not just on the keyless start.

I lost a lot of cool features when I sold my 2008 Jeep SRT8.

1. Automatic high beams
2. Copy USB music to hard drive
3. Rain sensing wipers
4. Factory HIDs (not available in 2012)
5. Rear bumper sensors (not available in 2012)

Not exactly major things, but come on. It's not hard to add them to the factory top of the line truck.

^Exactly.

I paid for the best truck Ford offers, w/ purpose-built duty in mind but just because of that that doesn't mean I want to sacrifice comfort/luxury. It ****** me off to no end when my friends casually remark (sometimes to riddle me) "Oh doesn't this have backup sensors?" or "Where's your keyless entry and push button start?" all followed by "Isn't this a $70K truck?"

My Reaction every time... pause... wait for it... :yuno:

On a side note has there actually been a Retrofit kit from Ford been made available to us? Shit I've already spent $1K on RemoteAccess, what's another ~$2K to be able to leave the keys in my pocket? :iranmaybe:

The truck is not top of the line. Ford Platinum or the Harley Davidson editions cost more.
I don't know if they have these features or not.

GREAT LAKES RAPTOR EXCURSIONS

The Harley-Davidson has been discontinued and the Limited is considered "top-tier" model. A fully loaded Limited is $56,220. A Raptor with 801A, front camera, man step, and stowable bed extender comes to $55,415.

Comparable price. The only additional amenities of the limited besides visual stuff is retractable steps, rear heated seats, rain sensing wipers, and ambient lighting. The Limited is not available with the 6.2L motor, only the Ecoboost.

The Raptor is easily more expensive than the Limited with the addition of the Special Edition package. In my opinion, the Raptor is the flagship model.

I just wish they would make a key and a key fob that actually fits in your pocket any more. I'll take the two keys that fit my Mustang over these huge things they give you these days.
