I assume you are referring to dielectric grease? Well you yourself could have bought some and made sure they would be protected. If you're so knowledgeable, why didn't you notice it as a weak point beforehand?

Just sent you a email buddy. Its a relay failure, sounds like some water got in there. I can have a new one to you on Wednesday.

Dawson---will you please send a new wiring harness, power supply/ballast basically everything sans the lights and one new Osram bulb to the same place you sent the lights to?

I will pay for it as well as the overnight shipping. Please advise of the cost. Want to get these perfect and not knowing what other components were weakened during the failure I want to make sure they are in good working order.

Please advise ASAP when you can do this..

Sorry they didn't work out for you sir. These relays have failed in the past due to moisture. Im sure you took all the precautions you could to avoid damaging it, obviously you wouldn't do it intentionally.

I will overnight you a complete new harness first thing in the morning. I will also include a set of new morimoto bulbs so you can keep the Osrams and still sell the heads as a complete package. You should have no problem selling the retro's or even the Osram bulbs in the garage sale section. Just so everyone knows, the headlights are in complete working order and it was just a relay failure.

Ill mention it again for everyone, these are aftermarket components, they are not the same quality as oem components. The wire harnesses from TRS are the highest quality aftermarket harnesses available. If you have seen the garbage other companies call harnesses you know this already. Short of manufacturing them myself Im really not sure how to get anything that would perform any better. Last time I checked water and electronics don't mix well so if your going to clean your engine bay I would recommend wrapping the relay with some plastic so its waterproof.

No problem David, again Im sorry about this. I would have everything to you tomorrow but being Memorial day all carriers are closed. I will ship overnight first thing tomorrow. again, there is no charge, everything is covered under warranty.

I do the best I can with what I have to work with. This is literally the cheapest part in the entire component list - $25. Ive told the manufacturer several times I will pay 5X that if they can make a better product. They keep making small improvments, just like with the rings but design, retooling, development - these things all take time and when they make a run of 1000pc they need to sell them all before moving to the next version.
