I would buy a low mileage 2023 Raptor R. I did and it has no issues. The 2024 Rs have build quality issues. Many good low Rs on Kelly Blue Book search site. That is how I found mine.

Don't get a moonroof

I agree! I ordered my 2025 with no moonroof! My 2020 Platinum F250 is a perfect truck, except the moonroof! They stick, pop, and now the drain lines clogged and smelled HORIBLE!

Thanks for the input guys. I can certainly see the wisdom in not getting, as they say, "a hole in the roof". I was ready to order, but when I sat down and looked at the available colors, I decided to wait until next year and see if Ford comes up with something a little more interesting. There really isn't much in the way of choices, especially for a truck that costs 6 figures.

Do not forget the keypad. It is extra now and ‘Dealer added’ No moonroof on my 2025 R order either. No graphics delete. So yes Ford did two stupid things on the 2025s.

My 24R was supposed to have the graphics delete but when it showed up the truck had them on it. I got everything you get with it. Guess I have been lucky my truck has been flawless not a single issue with it.

On my 24, I did moonroof, spray in bedliner and of course the rapid red was a $500 charge. I’ve had 5 raptors with moonroofs and never one issue. I do keep it well lubricated with silicone and it doesn’t sit outside or under trees. Worth it to me for the open air and light feel.

I ordered my 24 801a without the roof, dealer ordered it with ….he made the price right….. it’s being traded in this week on a 25 801a (exact same truck ) minus the roof …
Leaked from day1…. But a great truck !!
