2019 or 2020? Also, question about putting money down.

If you buy a new 2018 or new 2019, make sure it is not "punched"

In regards to down payment, think about it like this, if $10k is gonna only reduce your payments by $180 then maybe you can put 6-7k down and use that other 3-4K on something that’ll get make those $180 for you.

I’m not trying to hijack this thread. With the amount of new 2018s still out there, anybody have any insight on pricing once the 2020s hit the lot? I’ve been pursuing a 2013 or 2014 but now I’m thinking a new 2018.

I looked at the same situation. Found a 2018 just about fully loaded (ex carbon fiber and stickers) with 9000 miles on it. Got it for way less than a new 2019 at invoice. Truck also had about $4000 of aftermarket options added. Kinda made it a no-brainer. If you’re gonna buy and sell every couple of years, why pay the premium for new...when with a bit of research, you can get almost new...and save yourself a fortune. BTW...some credit unions are doing financing at 1.99% again. That’s just cheap money!

Thanks for your opinions guys!

Yea, I asked the sales rep and 2020 are about a few hundred more msrp then 2019 so not too bad there. With discount he said he could do 3k off msrp, they were bascially giving my invoice on the 2019 so it's a about a 2k difference which tbh isn't a big difference and I rather go for a new 2020.

I worked with Walls Ford in Salisbury Mass. They have been great, (my deal was a little special, so not sure how it translates) but they super competitive and family owned
