Paid 47,909 for a custom order. NADA clean trade in with 40,000 miles is $48,825. Gen 2 won't hold value like that.

And the flip side of that is the Gen 1 tanks when the Gen 2 comes out because people want to get a new Raptor after some reviews and shake downs come out. If I was a Gen 1 owner and had any itch to buy a new Gen 2 Id sell now because its a sellers market for the Gen 1 and no one knows what will happen when the Gen 2 comes out. Its a roll of the dice, the Gen 1 could stay strong or go higher after then Gen 2 comes out or it could tank.

You mean the not likely flipside? The truck is 3 years old and has zero depreciation. You think that just because the gen 2 comes out, all the gen 1's are going to fall on their face and drop value overnight. No.

We'll all standby and wait for your glowing review of how much better the gen 2 is.

I never said it will happen, I said it might and that IF you are thinking about a new Gen 2 sell now because its a sellers market.

Lots of people have speculated on 'bubbles' and most of them pop at some point.

I wont be able to make a personal comparison of the Gen 1 vs the Gen 2 either so no need to wait for that review.

I don't have a pic but the front wheels were showing some positive camber. I figured it was jacked up (all the wheel logo's were lined up to look pretty). Plus you can see in one pic the fender flare has a nick/scratch. A show porter having some fun with the Raptor???

Really. How dare a bunch of actual Raptor owners not join with the 2017 Raptor speculators that have nothing but Ford talking points to go on.

The nerve of these people in a forum created for Raptor owners.

All the 2017 fanboi's have are speculation, conjecture and Forza specs.

Gen1 Raptor's are holding value because there is a demand for them. Those who didn't buy one are now regretting it and trying to get one while they can.

It's makes so much sense that people are going out and paying a premium for used Raptors because the 2017 will be far superior and the market will crash when Ford floods the market with new Forza Raptors.
