My dealer can't pull that particular scam on me as it's a small island and I can count the number of special cars on one hand. What she could do is just sell it to a higher bidder since our agreement is an old school handshake.

Man, Fords dealer network is by far the worst I have ever dealt with. VERY scummy when it comes to low volume models.
Thankfully this is just the new model demand. Give it a couple months and orders will be much easier to make and come end of next year the dirt bag dealers that still have units sitting on the lot wanting 10K markup will be calling everyone to make a deal. The week after I bought mine for under MSRP I had two dealers that would not even sell for MSRP including one that had a 13 on the lot when 14's were out started blowing me up wanting to make deals under MSRP. Ford is not going to limit the production numbers like the GT350's. They will just be limited by supply of parts at times, we will be seeing thousands produced just like the Gen1. Look at how many 13 and 14 Gen 1's were built. Ford has the production down now for the Raptor and will be pumping them out, just have to wait a bit for the initial demand that filled the slots to die down.
Hell this happens with every new special edition. Same thing happened with the Z06 recently. and the Z06 previous as well. Since they are not true limited production vehicles just waiting it out will net you one with out the sticker shock.
