Not bad price considering that'll easily go into it in repairs if not more.

Right... not bad... I added first day rental if they have to keep it overnight and interior and exterior lighting coverage... seems like a no brainer...

The plan is a no brainer if you are going to keep the truck. It will pay for itself. Especially with all the new stuff in these trucks.

the warranty transfers to the buyer... so it's a plus on resale as well...

Flood ford is $1795 ($100 over cost) for the same coverage that Mike is offering at Warrick for $1775.00... either way is a good deal... Koons would not sell below $1895 and didn't know anything about the light coverage...

So is that something recommended you buy after Ford warranty runs out or when the vehicle is brand new?

You can purchase up to 36k/3yrs. But you get the best rate before 12k/1yr. I waited 8 months afterwards to buy mine

Painful to see all these threads with people ordering so late in the game and taking delivery in simply a matter of weeks.

Crazy.

Ordered July 27, 2016.

Dealer telling me it will probably be Mid to END of 2017 before I get mine. I am #3 of their 3 allocations.

Mid to end of 2017???

I plan on waiting until about March/April. If I don't have it by then I'm canceling and waiting for a 2018

I was 5 of 5 allocation and ordered mid Nov

You probably dont even want one of the early defects anyway!

I'd consider calling around and seeing if another dealer will let you place an order for a 17..

Sounds like pretty solid advice.

I know, but every dealer I've reached out to (out of state as well) either has no allocations left, or if they do, they are so far down the list I would be in not better shape, or are asking $$ OVER MSRP.

I got 1K below MSRP. Not willing to pay over simply due to the vehicles popularity and dealer greed. I can always wait, which is what I guess I'm stuck with now. Had I known, I just would have kept my down payment and ordered a 2018 once the hype settled.

Oh well, congrats to those that had a big dealer and got their Raptor in a reasonable time frame!
