Wrong oil put in during current change doesn’t mean previous changes were wrong unless prior receipts indicate wrong weight. All the facts may not have been presented in this case.
I wouldn't have put 15K miles in the thread title if I hadn't already checked the receipts from the previous oil changes. They did it right at 5K miles, then f-ed it up each oil change since 10K, 15K, 20K. Truck has 25K as of today and the oil was replaced with the correct oil this morning. So... 15K miles with the wrong weight oil.

It’s also shady to try to get them to pay for extended warranty and/or lifetime worth of oil changes… etc. If McDonalds gets my order wrong, should I ask a lifetime worth of food or pay for my medical bills? Ridiculous. ‍smh
Shady? You're about as smart and helpful as a brick. A company reduces the life of a $75K truck, also diminishes its value (now if I were to sell it I have service records that show it had the wrong oil for 15K miles) and you say I'm shady because I'm asking for ideas on how to make it right?

It'll be fine. Quit stressing out. It's a pickup truck. You drove it easy. You changed oil at half the recommended interval. The chance that there is any damage at all is remote.

Four times and it's somebody else's fault.

I think it’s funny some of you trust a dealer more than an oil change shop. I worked at a dealer in my younger years… they’re not paying ASE Certified mechanics to change your oil. Same shit can happen and you just don’t know because you’re not there. If I had time to change my oil myself, I would. 5 kids and 2 very successful businesses take up my time. Anyway, for the one comment that was actually helpful: It’s been babied for the most part, with periodic full throttle runs and some towing. Jiffy is offering oil testing on their dime. I am going to take them up on that and have my own oil testing done as well. I guess I’m looking for ideas on how they can make this right: pay for an extended warranty? Free oil changes for life? Should I sue them in small claims for diminished value of the truck? Etc etc

I think you will be OK. Not ideal to run 5w20 . But you babied it for most of that time. It would of been better if the mistake was 5w40 oil. Most Ford performance vehicles require 5w50 for track use beating on it. Except the Raptor. Definitely get the the oil testing On their dime ,I would say they owe you however many oil changes they screwed up . For the next future changes with oil analysis.plus I would be helicoptering them the next oil changes. I had a tech bend a rim with tire machine back in the day on my 93. 454ss . I was in waiting room not watching couldnt prove he did it with the tire machine. Now every time I get tire work done I watch everything.
