Who is still waiting for a VIN?

I too pre-ordered in July and have nothing yet. I am #3 of 3 from a dealership in St. Charles, IL.

Ford service has told me to hang in there for 12 weeks in a row.

Got the call this morning that I have a VIN and build date of Dec 7th. Hopefully it will stay on schedule

My build date is set for Dec 9. It's a scab. Is yours an xtra cab?

Wondering if they can mix crew cabs and extended cabs or if they trend to build one or the other for a specific amount of time.

FWIW, some updates may not populate on the FordSvc gal's system (or even the dealers for that matter) right away, or even for a while.

I was finally pulled Nov 7th, and painstakingly got "no updates on 0002, still waiting for scheduling" from FB Ford Svc for the past 3+ weeks. A friend took my order, so i know it was pulled and as of this Wednesday it still had not populated in the system.

Was seeing guys that were pulled this week and issued VINs with late January builds... It finally updated today, showing tentative build of Dec 12. I've noticed a couple other guys who were updated late with builds just around the corner. So there is hope others might just be delayed in updating, so hang strong all in the wait-game boat

Ordered 9-8. #1 allocation out of 3. Still nothing....anybody else #1 allocation at their dealership still not pulled??

That seems odd. We have allocation for 4 and our first 2 orders have been built already. No word yet on when the 3rd unit will get pulled for scheduling.

Have you found many others like that? Ford will usually try to get the first unit for each dealer scheduled before they start scheduling additional units for other dealers.

My truck has a build date of December 6th and it is a SCREW, so it looks like they build both models in the same week.

I have a SCAB as well. I am in Michigan and took the factory tour last month and they were building SCAB and SCREW at the same time. SCREW's definitely out numbered the SCABs but they all go down the line at the same time mixed in with the regular F-150s.
