Oh. Interesting. I had my truck ceramic coated, but I don't know if they did the plastics. I'll find out. Did you try restoring the plastic with something like cerakote? If so, how long did it last?
No, but I did take one of the damaged plastics and re applied the coating. It's black again, but I'm sure the sun would eat the coating up again. I used Car Pro Delux for Plastics. I'll never use anything like that again. There's no way to get it off.

First Pic (hood vent) picture is using a traditonal trim dressing, its what I have on now. I had the carbon piece but the clear coat failed on that. Another story for another day.

Second Pic (tailgate step) is a part I already replaced. This is the original part that was damaged from the ceramic coating. It started to turn white like yours. I kept it as a spare. It has been replaced since. So what I did was reapply Car Pro Deluxe to see if it would restore and it looks like it worked. However when the coating starts to fail, it will turn chalky white. In my opinion it ages faster than just leaving it alone or applying traditional trim dressings. It's a spare and since my truck is not kept inside the garage, it will fail again and it looks really bad.

Third Pic (hood vent) same story as second. It's a spare and I got it black again. Let me know if you have any questions and here is a link to my post. Mods and things like this ceramic coating plastics because I see it as a trending thing have left a sour taste in my mouth. If I ever get another Raptor I will do things so much different.

My truck is less than a year old. It's hard to believe the plastic would already start getting sunbleached. Has anyone else noticed these on their plastics?

Can't really tell from the picture, could it just be wax? Griot's sells a wax remover from plastic I have used when I get a little over zealous with my buffer. Or I may be way off.

Did you ceramic coat the plastics? If you did, it destroys the plastics and when the product starts to fail that is what happens. I tell everyone I know. Do not ceramic coat the plastics. Even if its made for it. Bigger headache than its worth. I had to replace mine, in less than a year. Lesson learned.
I never heard that before. I had a shop do my truck, no idea if they did the plastics or not. I'm assuming a good shop would know that. I know it still looks great.

I spoke to the shop that did it. The owner is really nice. He told me to bring it in, and they’ll fix it or replace it. He said it looks like their polish. It must have gotten into the plastics.

As the flares are plastic as well, even though they are painted, could they be affected? I’ve read about numerous paint issues with them, could that be because some of them have been ceramic coated?

Painted surfaces should be fine. I've seen reports of the paint chipping off of the Gen 3 flares, but if that happens the ceramic coating will go with it.
