I wouldn't pay anymore than 12 hours which is being kind but that's me. . I have done installs in many other vehicles post arm incident and afterwards with buddies. All of which installs averaged me/us 8-12 hrs. .
Being its your friend, Mention to him you'll be staying the day to learn in case of failure off-roading to know what you may need to troubleshoot if need be. It be wise at least regardless the fact.

Header install is usually between 1000 and 1500....

Now I believe the Whipple should be 10 hour install and if they are dyno tuning it themselves I have heard of shops wanting it a full day 8 hours. Whipple has tune foe headers. Why not just use that?

Just need to wait and see at this point.

As someone already ask, why did you not go for the Whipple LT header Tune?

Did you pay for the complete Whipple kit or the tuner kit?

If they charged you for the complete you can always send your PCM in for the flash.

you have any wrench turning skills? I'm in houston as well and would be down to give you a hand if you wanna save some major cash. lemme know! I don't know if I'd wanna do the headers or not, but I'd be 100% down on the blower.

Great offer rite here bro, roll with that. Blower installs are fairly straight forward. ESPECIALLY if your purchasing a kit. I'm waiting for the new pro charger system before I look into blown applications. Should be a sweet little setup for sure.

They want to use ARH headers but Im not sold on them. They seem to advertise 20hp less than Kooks and SW. Plus I dont see many of you guys running ARH. Opinions on headers?

OOHHH... I like the thermal coating option, good looking out rt there. Im afraid of heatsoak with the whipple anyway. Considering a radiator upgrade as well.
