OP, please forgive me for contributing to this deviance from your question.

In response to the desire to have clear reviews of "failures", ....not gonna happen here!

This was tried with a 3.0 shock comparison, couldn't keep the egos out.

Talk about failures, how about a clear, no bs, conversation on supercharger failures? You want try that?, again??

And this bump stop drama has been around for over two years. Still can't get any verification/proof of details.

There are both vendors and users who will not keep their extreme opinions under control. This turns any discussion into mud slinging.

Until we all can grow up and allow others their opinions, we will continue to ***** in the dark.

My 2 cents. Thankyou.

e-30 is much better than a bump stop
e-30 is much better than any 3.0
e-30 is much better than regular gas
e-30 is equivalent to premium as far as octane go's.
e-30 is e-30 so nothing to argue about

I've been trying to put out any flames before they spread.

If you've got proof of the failures, let's see them. It's my slandering a company. It is what it is. It broke. Many factors can cause a break. We are all smart people. We should know that.

I think if we all just get over the ******** and can openly post and talk about anything about the raptor again this forum will go back to being as great as it once was, the secrets and the egos are what's destroying it

I personally could care less if pics were posted, explanations of said pics given and the thread locked or heavily moderated. I think the info should be out in the open and not treated like (as was so eloquently put) the unicorn in the backyard.

I still don't even get how this is a debate TBH. it's the right thing to do so people can make informed decisions on how they want to spend thousands of dollars of their money. Simple right?

That's the point. There are no facts!

I think moving on and just policing our own posts is what's needed now.

As far as bump stops go, pick your favorite. They'll all do the job and you won't be disappointed.

By putting it out there, it also allows the vendor to improve their product. Look at RECON, they were a vendor, they put out a ****** product, had they addressed the issues, they would have a better product and still be a supporting vendor.

I can also understand not posting the failure of a part right away, maybe go to the vendor, have them fix/address the issue, fix it, and then post about it...."Hey all, this part broke...blah, blah, blah, i contacted the vendor, here is what they did to help/fix/address, i'm back on the road." Now if the vendor doesn't help or fix or address the issue, assuming it was a product failure, not a drive/owner of Raptor failure, then bash away, get them the **** outta here. And then there are the failures that happen because an owner of the Raptor drove out of the limits of the part, truck, or talent of driver...fess up, we are all human, we all **** up. ##Disclaimer## I know we can't and SHOULDN'T post certain Raptor mishaps due to insurance claims and who knows who is really watching...but if that's the case and it was due to a vendor part, well, we all need to know, because it could happen to anyone running that part and safety for one another should be #1.

But this thread has been high jacked and not ONE piece of evidence has been put out about failures, I guess our vendors make perfect products...good to know.
