Wait a month or so... Word on the street is there's yet another option to hit the market. Not saying it's better but is different from all the other options.

No hint? I'm about 3 days away. I can wait a few months if need be.

Doesn't this "new option" need miles and miles of testing by SVC, which equates to time?

Give it a month Bar. That is if you want another option with some new features.

That being said, I think most of the alternatives will suit all of us just fine.

After three Baja peninsula runs all off road from Tecate to Cabo, and various other off road adventures my RPG's haven't had one problem. But I should have new seals put in them before this spring run! I really don't think you can go wrong with any of them though, they are all very well made.

Not true. Outlaw and Icon use a 2" diameter Bumpstop.

Basically, semantics. :D

Unless you have a bent frame already, in which case you go with RPG. If not, then I think you just choose which product you like and think will give you a better return.

If I were you I would just write up some of the Qs you have and maybe email the shops if you don't have time to call in to ask.

The stuff about the beefier look you would have to see in person.

Or you can go balls to the wall and just pick one. Good luck.

The problem with this thread is that no one is talking about failure of any of the systems. When I shop for a new product, any product, home electronics, Raptor parts, guns, cell phones...you name it. I look for the bad reviews; I want to see what people DIDN't like, what failed. And Yes, I know people will exaggerate, or bash, so you have to weed through the ********.
So I highly doubt that there have been zero failures or problems with these bump stop kits, not saying all of them, but I've seen how some of you mofos drive. :fuckyea:
And this is off roading, shit is going to break! BJ Balwin's truck breaks...so...
Even if one of these systems has failed, doesn't mean it was due to the system, could have been the driver, how was it installed, a fluke circumstance, or it could have been the product...How did it fail? Why? And 2 out of 100 failures, I’m still good with that product. SO let’s count the failures to success stories.
The second part to that is, how did the company treat you and it's failed product?
These are the real questions that should be asked when purchasing a product like this. We can go on for days talking about oh I have "X", it works great, oh I have "Y", works great...blah, blah, blah...we aren’t getting much from those.
Who has had a failure with a bump stop it? State the facts, don't bash. How did it fail, what failed, what was going on when it failed, and how were you and the product treated by the vendor for it’s failure?
This is a Raptor OWNER forum, not a Raptor Vendor forum. Those vendors wouldn’t be here without us, and if there is a product out there for the Raptor and it’s failing or has failed, we as owners need to let other owners know, so we can be on the look out and have all the facts. Don’t bash, state the facts of YOUR experience. Rant over…
