So…I purchased the Fox Race 3.0 suspension for the Gen 2…the shop that did the work mentioned when the wheel is fully cranked that it just barely misses the external reservoir and recommended I install 15mm spacers to avoid from rub.

Is this a bad idea for the longevity of the hub? Wheel shake? I’ve never wanted to use spacers and hate the idea so all input is appreciated.

I guess also if it only hits on full lock (or possibly scrapes), would you avoid spacers and just not go full lock?

I have 1/4" spaces on my fronts because, Alcons. They are fine. I wouldn't do much more that that though. You could end up hitting other things, like fenders, flares etc.

Are you on stock wheels or zero offset?
