I haven’t ran multiple tunes from the different manufacturers, but I have the Whipple stage 1 and love it... especially after the last update I just received.

There are several ways to skin a cat and tune a vehicle. One tuner’s methods may differ from another’s in how they make power. I prefer using boost or air to make power and Gearhead uses timing to make power. Both methods work and both methods don’t work depending on how aggressive the tuner wants to be.
I don’t like to use timing because these trucks heat soak very easily and advancing ignition timing can bring the truck that much closer to pre detonation. That mixed with “auto octane” can be extremely dangerous.
You might as well sell the pedal commander. You can change the pedal response with the accessportI have Cobb with pedal Commander and very happy with it

I have tried multiple ones that Cobb pro tuners use and Mpt. All 93 octane. Always went back to MPT. Was curious on trying the ORA550 tune that is with Gearhead tuning but They couldn’t put that on the ngauge so it wouldn’t be worth it to buy another tuner device
I had the base Gearhead tune on an Ngauge device. I contacted Kino at ORA and he was able to get their tune onto an Ngauge. ORA 550 is my 4th and the best tune I have driven....over 2K Miles on the ORA....I highly recommend it !
