Good to hear. What way did you orient your front pipe? Every photo I could find had it mounted a different way. I just oriented the offset upwards for increased ground clearance. Looking at it now it seems like the offset should be toward the passenger side for more clearance to the driveshaft.

Changed out the Stubby 3.25” for a Votex 6.75”. Sacrificed way too much reception with the Stubby. Plus it was way smaller than I anticipated compared to the size of the truck. This Votex is a happy medium and has better reception than the Stubby. Still not quite as good as the massive stock antenna, but I don’t use AM/FM much anyway.

Got my MBRP turn down installed. Easy job and sounds pretty good for $300. I'm sure it'll rust through in a few years but I'm okay with that for the price.

Hard to say for sure. There is certainly more cabin noise than before but I also have mud terrains so it's kind of tough to discern between the tires and exhaust. Let's just say I did an 8 hour drive and although the noise was there, it wasn't really bothersome. The GF didn't complain either so it's definitely tolerable for us. Of course, everybody perceives sound differently so take that with a grain of salt.

There are a lot of mixed opinions on drone with this exhaust. I decided to just bite the bullet since the price was so reasonable and I'm happy with the purchase. If there is anybody in central MI that is on the fence about the MBRP I would be happy to take you for a spin.

I have the same setup and the drone is pretty bad. Just be aware 1700-2200rpm is where it is the worst

thanks for the input, the thing I am really concerned about is how bad/loud the drone will be when I tow my travel trailer. DD it is mostly only me in the truck and I can live with some but towing is the whole family and it may cause an issue.

That is the thing that has held me off from getting this. I've I talked with a few custom shops about getting something similar done up in 409 or 304, but the cost adds up.

Also realize you got the one without the extra resonator. I've heard that drones badly.
