Sorry but I have to say in my opinion that looks terrible! I have always thought the Raptor seats were one of the really good things about the Raptor, very comfortable and conforming for a truck seat.

I think the stock seats are pretty awful, honestly.
Clearly they were designed for a certain demographic and are not for me. The headrest positioning is awful, the bolstering is minimal, and the cloth insert doesn't do enough to keep an individual in position.

To each their own, but they are one of the worst seats I've had in a vehicle

What issues did you have? If it was positioning, there seems to be a lot of bracket choices out there. Evil makes a mount that uses the factory motored which seems pretty legit.

Also, you may already know this, when you unhook the seat I believe you are unhooking an air bag. I don’t know what other issues that would cause with the remaining bags and/or warning lights.

Now I remember, just went through my notifications and saw your other post. Lol

Yeah I agree , definitely not a fan of them, BUT….. I can appreciate the hassle and headache , and ingenuity that went along with getting those in there and mounted correctly.

Built a cv joint puller, load the axle/cv up, let it rip and stripped the threads on my outer cv joint. It should basically be no surprise that my Dewalt atomic 1/2” drive impact striped the threads given the M10’s torque spec and what not, but I had, had enough.

I have literally tried about every thing to remove this joint and to this point has gotten the better of me. I assume it is largely due to the fact that the joint was brand new and not necessarily intended to be serviced/taken apart.

I’ll try something else tomorrow………..

Also we have started plating my frame, the passenger side had some pretty good corrosion between the oem plate and frame. I know the driver’s side is going to be a good bit worse.

Correct, no forward- or rear-facing turn signals in my side mirrors (2012 SCrew). I have little plastic pieces where the rear-facing turn signals would go and then I have the orange reflectors on the front. I took it all apart hoping to see the wiring harness for the signals, but I only have one for the mirror adjustment motor. I called a couple of places to see about getting the wiring harness, but it sounds like it would be a major overhaul. Not really worth the effort for me. I'll likely just black out the front orange reflectors.

You could just find the signal wires under the dash and fish tape wire into the door using your own terminals. If you wanted OEM browse salvage for any trucks with the signal mirrors.

Adding mirror signals is less work than rewiring an entire trailer.

I had the rear mirror signals but replaced them and the reflectors.
