No. I have a 2013 terrain. I've just been lookin everywhere for c clamps but I give up. I found some on led concept lighting. Com but I don't like that u can see the individual LEDs. I might just send mine to raptor retrofit and let Dawson surprise me lol

The top bolt on the RXT has a special nut that another smaller bolt screws into the other side of it to hold the anti-wobble bracket so you have to have a perfectly sized bolt. Since we were changing it out, I decided to put a washer on each side too but even without washers the original bolt was still too short, only a few threads were showing. The icon one was 60mm and we used a 70mm

As you see the security washer would be useless on the top because of the oversized nut. The heads of the factory bolt on the bottom is smaller and wouldn't fit the security washer correctly to torque it. So we replaced those bolts with ones with bigger head to fit in the security washer. We used a 80mm there. They both were M12 - 1.75. I am concerned with the strength of these at 8.8 classe with the two events I am doing next month. If you were me, would you change these out with 10.9 asap?

The 8.8 metric class bolt is equivalent to grade 5 bolt which has a yield strength of 92 ksi. The 10.9 class bolt is equivalent to a grade 8 bolt of 130 ksi yield strength. Both are very capable. One thing to note is that when you go up in strength, you also go up in brittleness. Meaning that the bolt won't bend very far before catastrophically failing. So a typical mild grade steel bolt will bend much further than a grade 8 bolt before breaking. There are advantages to this if that is what you want.

In the case of the shock mount bolt, I think you want the strength vs bending capacity. So yes, I'd change them out. However, you could buy the higher grade hardware and keep it with you in case of failure of the currently installed hardware.

To contrast the strength vurse brittleness, think of the steering knuckles. Some think it's better that they bend first before catastrophically failing. You notice the bent part and limp home to fix it. If it breaks, you're stuck where you are till you fix it.

Be careful with the chart @Yukon Joe posted as it has both metric (ISO) grading and imperial (SAE) sizing on it which is kinda odd.

Here is a side by side chart for you:

Oh and the stock shock bolts (W506545S439) do not have a grade marking on them but the are galvanized (and metric) so 8.8 and lower would be my guess.

Added some green lens over my 40" light bar and have a roof mounted Amber stope light with 8 settings. Both added to help other drivers see my Raptor while I am in the dust in front or behind them https://vimeo.com/162884745

I really like the light bar Idea, been trying to figure a good way to wire something up in my light bar.

Picked up a set of National SD springs from a member here (Mil T) for a GREAT price. He went with the hd springs, but he's more hard core than I am. They were rusted from sitting out, so I wire wheeled them and shot them with a few coats of urethane black, going in this weekend :win: I already have a set of Gieser Bros progressive front springs installed. Now, I have some decent suspension to hit the back roads. Woo Whoo!
