Be patient, the first year is likely to have issues that need to be tweaked as well. I went back and forth with my preferred dealer on my '14 for over a year. They finally ordered one for me $200 under invoice when they had a couple slow months of sales and needed a couple orders. This was easily $10K under where their Sales Manager insisted their bottom line would be.

As others have said, push the internet sales team around a little and get them to put a price on the table that makes it worth a visit to the dealer and you should already be close to invoice. Then offer them something lower and be prepared to walk out a couple times. They will come around if your ordering it as they typically make 3% on the backend for customer ordered vehicles and they don't count against their allocation.

Nothing changed. Please cite any confirmed source that reports Ford will not be making 2017 supercrew Raptors.

Also, I can guarantee that lots of people will be ordering and buying 2017 Raptors for $500 or so over invoice.

The only thing I have heard is the SCrew is late availability. Hopefully we will have more info when the order banks open

Does anyone have any recent info as to whether the order banks open on July 18th or not?

The Ford Raptor is not a limited production vehicle. It is not limited to 500 or 1,000 or even 10,000 units. How many they make will be determined by how many orders they get combined with Ford's production capability. They're not going to flood the market with thousands of unwanted Raptors like they do for the regular F150 inventory, but the Raptor is not a vehicle where dealers are restricted to "two each" or anything like that.

You may be correct. But higher volume dealers will always get more allocation. The second generation Raptor doesn't appear to be nearly as special of a truck as the first generation either, that will help determine demand for the truck.

Bigger dealers have priority to order more stuff in general. True the neighborhood dealer with 40 vehicles in inventory will not be able to fill 10 Raptor orders as quickly as the big dealer with 1,000 in inventory, but they will all get filled.

MSP prices

I've contacted multiple dealers already. Waiting on more to get back to me. Morries in Minneapolis just told me they will definitely sell for over MSRP due to low allocation and limited production?? They haven't mentioned how much over.
North Country Ford in Minneapolis told me $3000 over MSRP.

I'm surprised these dealerships do business like this. I assume they don't care about repeat business or customers. I purchased a Viper and Range Rover, which both were truly limited production. I waited over 6 months for both. I didn't pay over MSRP for either. It's a truck, not an exotic. Someone will easily do MSRP, just find a nice small town dealer. Or wait a few months and they'll be below MSRP.

Any other experiences? I plan on buying in WI. Big cities are terrible.

I emailed 4 dealers around the Gilbert/Chandler AZ area and of course a couple said they will sell over msrp and they had a wait list. Others just said they don't have pricing info but would get back to me. I decided to wait until the ordering banks open before I bother to email anymore. My emails said I'm willing to pay $750 above invoice and custom order and wait for delivery.
At this point I think it's a waste of time until more info is out and the ordering banks are open. Then the process of elimination can begin to all dealers in AZ.
I don't recommend anyone give their phone # to a dealer until you have made a deal through emails. My friend who is a manager at a VW dealership told me this tip, otherwise you will get lots of sales calls. I also used an unimportant email to prevent spam.
I can easily afford MSRP but I won't do it. I'll be patient until I can order the Raptor I want at no more then $1,000 over invoice. All those savings can go into some cool ADD bumpers and LED lights! :)
