Dealer 1: "These trucks are so hot you've got to pay fifteen grand over sticker to even be considered!"

Dealer 2: "I'll need a $5000 deposit so I don't get stuck with this thing sitting on the lot."

lol

Both absolute lies. But thats being a salesman I guess.

Well here are my order details....

My guy is giving me $50 over invoice. So very nice deal.

One thing I cannot tell is beadlockers. He is checking for me. Does say 17" Forged wheels but nothing about the beadlockers.

OP, I believe the only optional wheel available is the " 17" Forged Aluminum Bead-Lock Capable Wheel " (code 64D) with an invoice price of $1,072.

So that's probably the right wheel.

Wow $66000 invoice! Crazy how much more money than gen 1. I would loose the graphics, the phony carbon fiber package and that horrible tail gate Appliqué. Trust me you don't want that big gray plastic fisher price plastic panel across the tail gate. Just my opinion only, but sometimes less is more.

This is a great deal at $50 over invoice, especially for you California guys where dealers are trying to get $5k or more over MSRP.

One word of caution though, Louisberg Ford in KS has a high tax rate of 9.25% so be sure and calculate that into your figures. + delivery fees.
Even at only $50 over invoice, the high tax rates makes it a worse deal for ME working with dealers at lower tax rates. Food for thought.

It's nice to hear of these dealers working close to invoice though, much respect for them. They still make around 3% on the holdback from Ford.



Huh? I bought my 14' from Louisburg and I didn't pay sales tax to them. They tried to charge me $299 for some 3rd party to handle the title registration and taxes but I told them that I will only pay Missouri's DMV, that I don't trust these so-called 3rd parties. They didn't push it, did the paperwork without it and let me go on my way.

They said the reason they do that because they have had issues where an individual buys these trucks but is actually working for another dealership back when they were on allocation and other dealers were not getting as many as they wanted. They would sell them with a mark-up so they weren't concerned with the hold-back. I think they make a judgement call when they see you or how the deal progresses.

With my county and local sales tax, they are at 8.875% anyways but luckily you only have to pay tax on the trade-in difference. Louisburg added that into the financing and wrote me a check back. They got me a great rate of 1.64% through Wells Fargo too.
