Yeah I did that the first time around found exactly what I wanted (or thought so @ The time...I’m all set w/ black again tho) and got a great deal. This time don’t really have the time - I’m surprised that people are so willing to pay that kinda coin for a used vehicle - an extreme offroad one at that- when new ones can be had for less than $10k more
I mean I appreciate That it’s the case b/c it helped me in terms
Or ins value, but it’s not something I would do, just too much $$$ for a used vehicle
the white one in NY does seem like a great deal in a way since only 3500 miles, but I mean.....why is it up for sale? Something seems weird
When the time came for me to return my Rubicon and get into a Raptor the best deal I was able to find was from AutoSaver Ford in Comstock NY. The dealers fee`s were only $75.00 and from what I was told by other forum members this fee was set by the state. I bought a 10 in 19 and it is a SCREW 802A, Panohood, hood and exterior graphics package, Technology package, second row heated seats, spray in bed liner, and dealer installed hard folding cover. I paid $62,760 plus sales tax and $75.00 document fee. I thought I did pretty well on the deal ??
FIRST OFF how are you feeling from the accident?
Valid point on the sacking her, if she stayed in her car that door-skin can hide a lot of scared things. Was she hurt at all?
Like mentioned above and on the forum look at how people were paying over sticker MSRP.
If you had any extended warranty you paid for or wheel protection paint protection etc. that money is also supposed to be returned to you
Did they mention anything about aftermarket items that you had put on the truck? Could you remove them from the truck since you have the receipts or will they reimbursed you ?
I was able to unbolt everything that I had put on my Rubicon and return it to stock
I went through it with 3 vehicles, one totaled, one NJ Lemon Law and my Rubicon that went back to the dealer to resell to some poor soul or hopefully a clueless person.
Did you receive anything stating what the damage repair cost would be? I wonder if you get a copy of what it needed to be brought back to pre accident condition Also curious about what the insurance buy back would be.
I’d bet if the price was right you would have several forum members willing to buy it as a complete truck from you if you went that route.
On the shifty side of doing things, if they just want the sticker MSRP and not your contract, I have known a few people who have had the “Dealer installed items” hand written piece of paper sent in with their sticker and had their um dealer installed items covered by the insurance company, things like ceramic coating and other things
