Right now I’m at $67.5k payout from the ins co!!!!! They’re asking for the window sticker to finalize seeing if they “missed” any options but I’m almost nervous to send it given the msrp was less than what they’re paying me!!!!
Lots of people pay over sticker. It's not like they are asking for your contract.

JAYZUSS! I’m glad you’re ok. F*cking red light running scum.

Good news, you have a bunch of high dollar options, which helps if they have to total but honestly, she doesn’t look that bad. I mean, it won’t buff right out, but a good body place will fix her right up.

Yup. This.

Sack that cell yakking, makeup applying, starbucks swilling hag for EVERY dime you have to outlay, from the ride back home through every medical bill. Please also get checked out. An adrenaline dump can hide a multitude if serious injuries, even if it’s just soft tissue. Don’t fraud this woman, but don’t say to yourself ‘oh heck, it’s not worth the effort’. That said, every dime you have to spend, hours off work to do anything related to it, bill them.

The bad news is, you’re in MA, and bumper cars seems to be the state sport. The good news is, you’re in MA and if there’s one industry that’s really strong there, it’s the auto collision repair business.
Sack her? Think we’re going to need some pictures to determine.

FIRST OFF how are you feeling from the accident?

Valid point on the sacking her, if she stayed in her car that door-skin can hide a lot of scared things. Was she hurt at all?

Like mentioned above and on the forum look at how people were paying over sticker MSRP.

If you had any extended warranty you paid for or wheel protection paint protection etc. that money is also supposed to be returned to you
Did they mention anything about aftermarket items that you had put on the truck? Could you remove them from the truck since you have the receipts or will they reimbursed you ?
I was able to unbolt everything that I had put on my Rubicon and return it to stock

I went through it with 3 vehicles, one totaled, one NJ Lemon Law and my Rubicon that went back to the dealer to resell to some poor soul or hopefully a clueless person.

Did you receive anything stating what the damage repair cost would be? I wonder if you get a copy of what it needed to be brought back to pre accident condition Also curious about what the insurance buy back would be.

I’d bet if the price was right you would have several forum members willing to buy it as a complete truck from you if you went that route.

On the shifty side of doing things, if they just want the sticker MSRP and not your contract, I have known a few people who have had the “Dealer installed items” hand written piece of paper sent in with their sticker and had their um dealer installed items covered by the insurance company, things like ceramic coating and other things

Doesn’t matter what you paid, it matters how much a replacement is. Prices are bonkers right now. Good time to get a check. Ride a hoopty for a few months until the vehicle market catches up.

why would you be required to give them a window sticker and what makes them think you have one?

Yeah I'm torn - basically the situation in new england is such: used raptors w/ 15-40k & decent options 801a mid w/ add ons or 802a are all $60k+ w/ very little wiggle room. I can't justify paying that kind of money for a used truck when I got a better deal for my totaled one when it was new & there are still new ones available w/ 0 miles for not much more

all the trucks I found within 100 miles of my home that are price in the $70-72k range have the rocky ridge aftermarket shit package - literally 4 of 17 vehicles, anything else w/ decent options is more than that & dealers are asking from $2.5-5k in markup, and I don't want to pay close to $80k for a vehicle nor do I want to pay over MSRP our of principle.

So I did find a 2020 leadfoot 801a mid that I could get @ MSRP or maybe $500 off tops stickers for $64,700 - this has all the options my previous truck had except for factory nav (does have sync 3 w/ 8" screen), the bedside stickers (which I removed anyhow), the panoroof (which I was on the fence on previous & while didn't have any issues people have), & the tailgate step & the LED box lighting, remote start on the key......what it DOES have my 2018 didn't is the torsen front diff thats standard now, the trailer brake control, wifi hotspot that wasn't available, that's bout it

I'm confused w/ the following - my 2018 was 801a & showed separate option "voice activated nav" @ $795 & "Sync connet" in red letters (all other opetions printed in black) @ $235 - what is that what is the difference between that & having "sync3 8" screen w/ applink" - I get that it doesn't have nav, but what was up w/ that separate $235 charge on my old 2018?

The moonroof I liked but am pretty much neutral on since I would be OK w/o worrying bout a leak or having to clean/lube twice a year - the tailgate step & LED bed lighting I DID like & would miss - can the box lighting be added by dealer? I imagine yes? And am I safe to assume the "remote start - fordpass app" listed under standard feature on this 2020 is strictly w/ the app & not built into the key? I am unsure b/c my 2018 had a separate option for "remote start system" @ $195 and didnt list anything about remote start/fordpass app as a standard feature but it did in fact have the ability to remote start through the app as well.....so confused on that too

I'm leaning toward snagging this one as I do like the color & its a new vehicle I already have floormats/2nd set of wheels w/ snow tires that are like new, & its pretty damn close optoins-wise to what I had. I can't remember if I ever used the factory nav TBH it was always waze or google maps for me.

I am going to test drive an F250 diesel w/ the Tremor package along w/ GM & RAM stuff I guess.

My 2020 801A came with remote start as a stand alone option for $195. I wouldn't have ordered it, but I kinda like it.

You need to broaden your search. There are always deals to be had. You can certainly buy a new or slightly low mileage used 19-20 802A Raptor for $65-70k.

I found a 20 802A located in NY with a full $7k Xpel wrap, $2k bed cover, and a couple grand worth of BD lights for $70k: https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/detail/822585817/overview/

There are always deals to be had.
