Towing with my 2018 Raptor

I need help guys. I have a 2018 SCREW and I love that truck. I'm about to buy a boat. Loaded with gas, and on a trailer and I'm right at 8K lbs. I'm between a 25 foot Sea Hunt and a 25 foot Tidewater and they weight almost the same. I recently ordered Deaver HD leaf springs and the SVC hydraulic bump stop kit with the 2.5 Fox BS. Do you think I will be ok with this set up for towing the boat? I am new to boating and trailering. I have been looking at other F150s to maybe trade my truck in for a Lariat or King Ranch but I just love me truck.

Dont know if this helps but it does have the tow package, tech package, trailer brake controller and trailer assist.

I live in Jacksonville and the 2 spots I would be trailering to would be about 35 mins away. I figure I would be trailering 5 times a month.

You're not logging big miles, so you probably will be fine if you take it easy. Search for weight distributing hitch for lots more info.

A proper weight distribution hitch assembly along with the boat correctly positioned on the trailer is a must. Insure that the boat position puts ~10% of the total trailer weight on the ball to help with sway. If you are aren’t fluent with a WD hitch, have someone who knows them assist in setting it up for you the first time, there is no shame in engaging a pro the first time. Insure truck and trailer tires are properly inflated for towing. Good luck...

Watch the the tongue weight but those deaver HDs will help a lot. No way would I tow that with stock springs. Short trips you will ( should) be just fine.

I saw a YouTube video and Ken Block was pulling a boat similar in weight and he had the SVC bumpstops and probably upgraded leaf springs and the truck looked leveled. I hope to attain same results while also being safe on road. Thanks for tip

I pull a 25 ft Malibu LSV double axle to and from the dealer for annual service. Weight is right at 8,000. All stock and no weight distribution hitch. Doesn’t sag too much. About 35 miles. I just take it slow. Truck does fine.
