It seems paying sticker is definitely acceptable especially since it's a Raptor that's already on the lot. All the dealers local to me wanted 5-10k over MSRP for what was on their lot because that's all they had left and no more allocation. I did find one dealer that would do $500 off MSRP but that was it. Seems like sticker is a decent price without ordering and this late in the year.

Well, I apparently misunderstood. The truck that I found in Atlanta is listed on ebay for 2K over the actual sticker price....I finally got to see the sticker. I REALLY want the damn thing though. ARGH! Gonna try and get them down a bit, already discussed wiring money down there from work up here in Canada....I think he knows that I'm serious....just gotta get him to believe that I'll seriously walk if we don't get the numbers correct.....

Wish me luck!! And if anyone has any words of wisdom, I'm all ears!!!!

Does the listing on ebay include a make offer bid? If so make an offer for what you're willing to pay and see if it gets accepted.

The ebay listing does say "OBO"....I've already talked ot the salesman on the phone to figure out what I need to do to buy the vehicle while I'm at work (currently on a rig, but based in St. John's, Newfoundland) and submitted the credit application that was linked to the ebay listing. We haven't agreed on a price yet - havent' tlaked about it - but I haven't negotiated on a vehicle in a LONG time.

Any suggestions?

I know a lot of people will argue to shoot low and meet in the middle. I've always been a believer of picking a price that you are willing to pay and just tell them that you're not willing to pay any more. If they refuse try not to sweat it, there will always be another vehicle, even if you have to buy used.

Well,

I passed on the deal in Ga, then passed on the one that I found on eBay....for anyone looking, here is the link.... Ford F 150 SVT | eBay

Found one in Plano, exactly what I was looking for. A big thank you goes out to Corey White at Five Star Ford there in Plano for working with me on the sale and dealing with the logistical issues that selling a car to someone that is in another country present. Sold it at sticker, and tossed in the bedliner. I'm STOKED.

If you are looking for a truck, or know someone that is, I think he's got 2 more on the lot!!

Thanks everyone, and I look forward to getting out of the "Prospective Owners" group and playing with the big boys when I get back!

Congrats on getting one locked down, I think MSRP is going to be considered a good deal from here on out since most dealers aren't going to be in any hurry to get rid of stock since there isn't a new model coming in 2015.

I think Five Star is a Roush dealer so you might as well get them to throw a supercharger on their too.
