Gotcha. I was hoping to shed some weight at the corners. The Grabbers come in at around 79lbs, so the Falken's are a little better. But the Duratracs are 60lb tires. That's a huge deal, especially when it comes to my "boat anchor" 5.4

Hmm...

I have duratracs and like them a lot. Especially compared to the ****** stock bfgs. I already have about 10k miles more then I got out of the stockers and still have another 10k miles left of tread. I've only blown one sidewall and that was when I hit a hog causing the bottom corner of my bumper to stab into the sidewall. The toyos and faulkens do have my attention though.

Really? That's interesting. Idk of anybody running them. Do you remember who it was?
I remember Connor mentioning it to me, never actually saw it myself. Can't find it on a Google search, although I do see 2 King of Hammers, and one Henderson 250 wins, in a variety of classes.

keaton, what more would you be looking for from a tire, that would make you switch (or consider switching) from the Duratracs? In other words, where do the Duratracs fall short, do you think?

Tread life, appearance (really love the way duratracs look), amd performance. I don't stick my truck in the mud unless I absolutely have too and since the new tires never had it hang up on me.

Lots of videos on YouTube of jeeps at Moab and in the desert wearing falkens.

Here's mine. After 25,000 miles (thought it was 15, but I just checked when I bought em compared to my mileage that week)

Pretty ****** pics due to the dried up mud on em, but you get the idea. TONS of tread left. I'm betting they will get easily 60,000 miles.

But I'm ditching them in a bit for 33's. gonna stick with falkens though.

Really an under rated tire. And I see it blowing up big time soon. As more and more people actually try them.

So far I've convinced 4-5 people to run them. And they've had nothing but good things to say.
