I bought a Jeep last week to use on my trips to NM so I don't burn so much fueal and wear out the Raptor that much faster. That being said the mods for the Rubicon will take a couiple of days(headlights to aux lights, springs, shocks, tires. exhaust, intake, track bar, wheels, steering stablizer etc) and the dedicated wheelers do not like the Dura Tracs because of the thin sidewall. Spent a lot of time looking at the issue because they were on my short list and it is true. Just be advised they are for really not heavy duty. Have torn out many sidewalls and it is a pain. As much as I hate to because of the highway miles the MTR and maybe the Silent Armor or Geolander ATS for the jeep.
I am 27 miles from a gas station in NM and do not want a problem with freaking tires lol.... Yes I know people will flame me but all of my failures have been with BFG tires the AT KO's and KM2's. Would not put them on my vehicles if they were free..
Thought about these (had a set on a Dodge oil burner) the Dune Grapplers have the best in class sidewall protection but suck in the mud and are not good even in the small rocks we have around here. On dry pavement they are awesome and in the sandy loose soil. Ran those through places that cut the BFG's sidewalls and they always cleaned up like new..
