No I've had a Ram 1500 Sport for the last 4 years lol. Trying to fix that..

The point I'm trying to make is that as a B302 owner I never looked at the GT350 as some sort of threat. You Gen I guys see the new '17 Raptor as one. Why? Did you think Ford was going to keep the same design forever? The new one is 500 lbs lighter. Thats a really good thing. Everything else is also a few steps advanced. Big deal, you guys can still enjoy what you have and nobody is forcing you to buy something you don't want. I don't get all the animosity toward it?

I'm not defensive about anything, bro. I'm just voicing my disappointment with the new engine. I'm hopeful that Ford will fix it and when they do I will likely buy the new truck. I've widely praised the new truck overall and pointed out ages ago that it has a lot of the upgrades that were developed right here.

I am growing tired of your nonsensical arguments, though. Not sure what your Boss 302 analogy had to do with anything. The Boss 302 was always an ugly car. Frankly, I never understood why anyone would buy one when the GT500 was available (couldn't afford one?). Of course the new GT350 is better than the ugly and under powered Boss 302.

I can't imagine a lot of '13 & '14 GT500 owners are rushing out to trade in on one, though. I certainly wouldn't.

You're the one in the '17 board. I'll never go into any of the older model boards to post anything whatsoever. So who's picking the fight? Half the crap I see in this '17 board are butthurt Gen I owners discounting the new truck. I don't get it.

People who don't own a Raptor should **** about what is better or not until you do. As a non owner you can't compare anything because you have no idea what it's like to really drive a Raptor. Current owners want a V8 and you boost happy Forza tuners get butt hurt because there is no replacement for displacement. We all want a second gen Raptor but there are things we were hoping for that we are disappointed about and still have hope for change. So yes we will speak out and loudly so when Ford reads this shit they get a clue.

All your past posts here pertain to trashing the gen 1. When you get a Raptor and a clue, come on back and have a legitimate discussion.

First of all comparing the gen 1 and 2 Raptors to the Boss and GT350 doesn't hold water. If you had a Boss and traded it in for a GT350 with an EcoBoost motor and told us how much better the twin turbo V6 is than the old V8 you might have an argument.

Second, I agree the gen 2 Raptor will be an improvement over the gen 1. I think that the engine and new 4wd system will be the question marks. That being said, the only reason I bought Raptors was for the 6.2 and the off-road mode. Changing those 2 things out makes me question a new one.

I'll still be buying one but not with any intention of building an off-road beast. Not with an EB, "terrain management system" and 10 speed transmission. I'd rather buy a new 2wd XL with a 5.0

I haven't been around long enough to know the story behind it but what is the butt hurt about ICONs? I see the jokes so more or less just curious. Figure you are the guy to ask. PM me, if needed.

EDIT: Nevermind, found the jackroot comment thread. For someone who has ICON's, that was quite the read.
