Go back over to the Gen 2 forum, wherever that is, and defend yourself over there. I can't even fathom why you would want to be here. I think I'm starting to understand you guys. You guys don't like the new truck, you don't want it, but from what we're all reading about it is that it's better...! The new truck will most likely be better and not liking the truck when it's better has got to suck for you guys. So what do you do? You direct all that anger on guys that do like it...

Most of us have modified our gen 1 WAY past what the gen 2 offers. I like everything about the gen 2 but I'm not about to take a $70k hit just to say I have a gen 2.

Exactly ^ @zanemasterx has been through this I think he gets now what we mean. I have already told my wife I'm buying a 2018 Raptor mine will be paid off by then and hopefully like in the past, they bump the power plant.

If they don't I will still buy one, I will just be glad I have a Gen 1 as well. Half the fun of driving the Raptor is the loud ass roar that happens when the go pedal is floored and everyone looks around scared like because they don't know if they need to move or what.

There are a few on here that plain just don't like it and that is fine argue with them. I can guarantee Ford knows about this site and all of our gripes about gen 2 since it's introduction. We were on twitter sessions with engineers, shit go find the thread where the SVT engineers did a Q and A here. How the hell do you think the placquard thingy became a rumored option versus standard. We ******* about it and they listened. Shit even Ford Service is a member here.

If a non owner second gen hopeful purchaser wants to see the truck be better than the previous gen, they need to understand where the faults of the first gen are. Have they fixed IWE's/Power Steering? Haven't heard shit about that huh? Do non owners 17 hopefuls even know that's a thing and it should be fixed? How about shattering back windows when using the defroster? Sunroof sliders coming of track?

I guess what it boils down too is we all want a new Raptor but we are not going to sit back when Ford is heavy in social media and not let our gripes be heard so they can be ignored or addressed by Ford.
