Denial.....lulz. You guys honestly think that Ford is spending all this R&D and MONEY to make a truck that won't be as good, or even on par with the Gen I? It doesn't work that way fellas lol.

I think they are spending all this MONEY to market a V6 as a viable alternative to a V8 in trucks. They have mpg requirements set by the Feds they have to meet and if they can't get people excited about buying 2.7L TT V6's then they are going to lose their title as the #1 selling vehicle in the US. It's all about selling us on smaller engines with better fuel economy. It has nothing to do with the EB being a better engine than the 6.2 or 5.0. I personally think the 5.0 is a better engine than the 6.2 or the EB

If you guys want big displacement maybe you should go to Chevy, GMC or Ram? Or just be happy with what you have. 6.2's and and 6.4's are there for the taking.

All true. Also, the development of the new 3.5 EB is something they are prioritizing for the GT and another run at Le Mans. As you know, the Le Mans class rules basically dictate a 3.5.

It's the **** where everyone takes turns peeing on each other R. Kelly style.

I'm loading up my 3 kids and taking a trip to Walmart for groceries. Anyone want to meet up for Starbucks after and just stare at our trucks?

Only if we can catch some sick air off the 3rd speed bump!!

Remember the Mustang 2?

Haha. That was actually my first car at 16, a 1974 Mustang II (green with the two-tone roof). Thing was a piece of crap, a Honda civic at the time could beat it. It did corner half way decent though. Ford realized then that it was ruining the Mustang name and changed, perhaps history will repeat itself...
