The Fast Lane Truck 2017 Raptor

Love it, except for the machined rims. That's the first I've seen those wheels on any 2017 I could find on the interweb.

I'll be ordering a gray one without a sunroof, with a Torsen (says "available"), and with black or grey wheels (non-beadlock).

Was the Torsen diff an option on the older models? From the window stickers I could find it looked like it was just included.

Whenever it's Jamal talking I always listen a little closer. It'll blow away the old v8. Hmmm. Sounds like more than 450hp. I wouldn't call 450 blowing away 411. So how much will it be???

Paddle shifters.

Much better off-road especially at high speed

Rode much better in the sand (glides on top)

It's also 500 pounds lighter so with more power and less weight it will definitely be quite a bit faster.

No doubt there. Still wondering if they are going to get closer to 500 hp. Otherwise, why would Jamal say it would blow away the outgoing v8 numbers. 450 is not blowing away 411.

Just watched the video. Almost spit my beer out when he said the new V6 was vastly superior to the old V8. Sorry, but I just can't get excited about a truck that sounds like a minivan. I just committed to keeping my truck for at least another few years with some major upgrades. Hopefully by the time I get bored again they will fix this.

Agree. My guess is that they will push for closer to 500. I think they know they need to over deliver on this since so many people are disappointed with it being a V6.
