I am still waiting to here from Roush and discuss with them our options.. 411 hp is enough, but I don't know if it is enough for sportscars or dubbs..

To me regearing to 4.56 or 4.88 would be ideal..

Nope... What fun would that be? Drive 700+ miles just to go for a Sunday drive?

My gear guy is seeing if you can put 5.13s in the truck. Hopefully will know today. If not 4.88 will have to do!. Talked with Mike at 5 Star and he said no problems tuning for either. If I get my gears in come down for a weekend and see what you think!

I think for our use during run 4.56 would be the best.. 4.88 or 5.13 might be too much... Also trying to balance reliability.. It does no good if you are the fast on the tow truck.. Have to finish to make all this worth it..

the push button is for boat owners. how much are you going to need 4x4 on a bull run with mostly fancy sport cars? lock the rear ax and give it the go pedal. I'm am dyno my truck next wednesday I'm just to curious at how much more I have with the mods I've done yahya don't forget I run e-30. I'm working on a test of 91 octane and e-30 to compare power also dyno them both.

My plan is if 5.13 won't hold up i'll put a dana 80 in. If that won't hold up i'm going to the house with my tail between my legs.

Here is what sold me...

4.88, 70 mph, 35" tires, in 6th gear 0.69 ratio makes the motor turn 2263 rpms

4.56, 70 mph, 35" tires, in 6th gear 0.69 ratio makes the motor turn 2114 rpms

before you get crazy with the gear swap try the diablo tune. I think you leave enough rubber on the road with that set up. now I can't wait for the dyno to see some real numbers. of cores the only power I know is the truck stock and now with the mods.
I have drove a stock car race car on the gravel road before that was fun.
how much do you think I'm getting at the wheels with the set up I have?
I only ask these questions because how stock is a raptor with different gears? how many people would want to change out gears, if not sponsored how much of the raptor is intact. if you change it too much the run will mean nothing to the stock raptor owner.
ya you can buy a stock raptor for 50k and add? 25k? and it will make it threw the bull run.
it's up to you and will respect your decision on how modded you go just make a list of all you've done. I think it give merritt that a stock raptor is not worthy. so try not getting to carried away. Thanks.
shocks, tune, cai, headers, tires, are basically the same and an easy mod what ever brand you have. supercharger, gears, transmissions, motors, imo is altering the truck a lot. however adding a supercharger is a common practices to a lot of mothers so would rather see that mod than changing out motors gears and all that.
I guess what I"m asking is when dose a Raptor become a TTR instead of a Raptor.
