That is the plan... Hopefully we can work out the gearing issues and a little Roush magic.. Little bump in HP/TQ and 4.56 gears (or 4.88) might be the ticket to surprise some nay sayers..

here, on frf
greg, do you think going back down to bottom perch might help? it would definitely eliminate those problems you were having being on top perch and might prove to be benificial considering how far and fast you will be driving. even at bottom perch, the truck can handle a lot more than a regular truck and i honestly dont think any challenges will require full use of your suspension. the last thing you want to do is break something on the truck during the run..... im just farting out ideas.....

I am at bottom perch setting on the ICON's right now.. Even with that setting what Netix is pointing out is the crappy IWE setup on these trucks.. Even at lower perch I shelled out both hubs during the SnoBall 500.. It was not from shifting from 2x4 to 4x4.. They are just a weak link.. And adding power to the truck will make this issue worse.. SDHQ is seeing if they can make a manual locking conversion (ie full floating hub) to eliminate this issue. Still in VERY earily development stages.. We have thrown out locking collar to physically lock the hubs an eliminating IWE all together.. It would work on 2010-2011 Raptors with open front diffs.. But on 2012 and up with torsens it would destroy tires, cv, diff, and god knows whatelse.

Axle swap? Wavetrac limited slip instead of torsen? Greg F did full floating wheel hubs, i know what a full floating axle is i'm quite new to the idea of a full floating wheel hub. I did some minor facebook msging with him but nothing too much. Although i could go ask him to go deeper into it and actually we could all work together to ******* fix this (excuse my language)

how about a manual transfer case, lol that would solve everything...

Yeah when did auto manufacturers start thinking "let's do everything for them with a push of a button".
When we mentioned swaybar disconnects at SVT you know they won't use a pin style ($100 option)they have to engineer a fancy solution ($2000 option).
