Just curious of any issues Gen 3 owners have faced if any with higher mileage trucks if you have one. Only asking because I know the factory 3/36 warranty burns up quickly. I have had two f150s prior to this but traded them around 65k with no issues to note. What would be the life expectancy out of a gen 3 raptor provided it’s not beat on daily ? If anything I feel like it would be more durable as it’s built a bit tougher compared to the standard chassis. Thanks for any feedback you might have.

What'chu talking 'bout Willis?
My '22 has 50k miles on it, never been in the shop.

I did buy the extended warranty from Flood Ford before the factory ran out.

Ohh Wow...that seems slightly higher than average miles driven. Probably need some people’s input with more miles logged. Good play on the extended warranty, nice cheap insurance. How long is your coverage good out until?

2021 with just under 60K. Pretty sure at least one of the IWEs need replaced, just haven't had time to get it into the shop. Have extended warranty to 125K. I've done front/rear diff/transfercase fluid exchanges. Transmission fluid/filter. Replaced the rear diff cover with the fP one and the transmission pan with the B&M one for easier fluid service. I plan on keeping it long term since the newer ones seem to come with less an less for more and more. I tow regularly with mine (6x8 trailer and 20' boat). Replaced the tires around 45K miles. Planning for a shock rebuild in the next year or so.

Dude. You ain’t kidding bout paying more for less. Only thing my 22 is missing is the lighted cup holders. Looks like I’ll be keeping it unless the gen4 is dope.

Ford in general has lost me as a customer... no plans to ever purchase another new Ford and this is coming from a lifelong Ford customer and Ford family. If anything, I'll get a gen 1.
