One thing to keep in mind is the response from a supercharger is instant compared to a turbo, but it needs more RPM to achieve max boost compared To a turbo. But it’ll be interesting to see how the hybrid component changes things.
That’s true but depends on the type of SC.....but generally speaking roots-type most factory setups go with are more linear & similar to a big block vs most turbo setups....but look @ what the Germans have done w/ virtually seamless/& there’s a reason they & GM now have started the transition to hybrid & twin turbos (tt typically able to break up the TQ duties in the power curve)
roots based blowers typically suffer heat soak power loss & just difficult to keep cool in general, centrifugal blowers usually better in that regard but don’t really see em often w/ factory setups
