Hey guys I am getting this error message on Fordpass permissions. As a result I'm not able to send navigation directions to the vehicle from the Fordpass app. Any idea how to fix it? I've done some Googling without finding a solution. 2019 Raptor 802a and tech package. Phone is a Galaxy S9 on Verizon. Thanks in advance!

Select guides from the ford pass app and go thru ford support .. they are pretty good .. the error message seems to indicate that your truck cannot communicate with the ford servers.

Possibly an authentication issue from your truck to ford.

I have an s9 it mine works flawlessly.

So to close out this issue after multiple calls to Ford customer service I thought Ford had blown me off. I would call FordPass, they would tell me "it's not a Fordpass issue", then they would forward me to the In-Vehicle Technology department and they would tell me "it's a Fordpass issue". Finally on my 3rd call the guy said he would "escalate the issue to the "In-Vehicle technology engineering department" and they would call me back. Well about 3 weeks went by and noone called me. Yesterday out of the blue I get a message on my phone from Ford with a specific description of certain steps I needed to do in my vehicle to access certain permissions and update the Fordpass part of the system.

So I followed their instructions and viola! It works. I can send directions to the car and no longer get the "cannot access Ford servers" error. Working properly now!

In vehicle settings go to Apps. Select Update Apps. Allow to update. Restart truck. Problem fixed. (Must be connected to the internet via inboard wifi).

I got the impression from the tech that Ford did something VIN specific for my truck to push an update to me so this fix may not work for you without Fords help.
