2 more 2nd place trophy at the county fair mud drags..

It was a pretty dry track, had lots of traction and an actual drag tree with timing lights... the whole event was run on times (add your 2 runs together to get your time) instead of people calling the race at the finish line like some events I went to last year..

Had fun, will go back again.. surprised a lot of old schoolers but of course heard some $80k truck talk things as usual..( i cant believe youre taking your $80k truck out here)

This was fun. On the D-side, I'll just keep the welding blankets on top of the fuel tank sprayed down with a mister.
Yeah, this would be much more difficult with the bed on.

These were on sale for $199 so I got 2 in case one was dirty..
Yup. I've got 3 for shtf. They kick like a BULL with 3" slugs. I've test fired them all, but after 3 rds I put them up for Emergency Use. Not going to be using these for duck hunting. And I'm a former trap and ***** competitor. 3 rds was ENOUGH.

The Newline prerunner bumper.
TIG weld closeups. Everytime I look at it I realize I'm not so much a Welder as I am a Grinder with a MIG machine.

The bed brace parts coming together. The tab closest to the original bed bolt has to be trimmed for clearance. Although the actual bed material is like 20ga steel, the 3/16" plate material they mention is the correct size for these. At over 3 tons empty, what's another 10lbs?

These 3" dia, 1/2" round plates are sold as steel targets, but they can also be trimmed to use as bumpstop pads.
