Sure thing, just let me know.

Those new CompuStar remotes are pretty good looking. I had their remote start on the Firehawk with no issues. I never used the 2-way due to bulky size and reason I went with Viper in past 2 vehicles.

slight setback. the video is going to take a bit longer to get completed. please bear with me.

Can you give a summary of what's going to be used ?(brands & models)
Alarm sys, bypass module, added sensors, any special trick that you are considering?
A photo guide will do too if you are a lil camera shy

not camera shy..... didnt you see my 9500ci install vid? ...... you cant find me in the vid at all. haha

so here is what i am using

viper 5904 alarm
dball transponder interface
530t window automation (x2 for front and rear windows)
506t glass breakage sensor
magnetic reed switch for tailgate

as far as tools needed

dmm
test light
my handy (stupidly expensive) snap on hook tool (cotter pin removal tool) or as i call it, my ******.
whatever you want to use to tap into the wires

i personally dont like to use solder for alarms because of the risk of cold solder joints. too much heat on the small wires and they will not accept solder. also the location of some wires makes it hard to solder properly. t taps can be used but not recommended. i normally use seamless butt connectors because it is very difficult to mess it up.

so far i have the video of the reed switch from the tailgate, power under the hood, siren and about half of the alarm install. as some of you know, i was having personnal issues, so i had to spend some time sorting it out. but i promise to have video up soon

you can, it just needs to be flat when in the normal position. so it would have to go inside the tailgate, which is easy enough to access
