Definitely subscribing to this. Picking up '10 tomorrow and installing remote starts on my past 3 vehicles it'll happen ASAP. Always glad for guidance to make it go quicker, after every install I swear I'll pay someone to do it the next time......then I do it again, lol.

Nosbusa, any chance you copy/paste the wiring pinouts for a 2010 please?

I've had Viper in past 2 vehicles, can't recall model numbers but both came with a 1-way and 2-way remote that look damn near identical.

I'm was in the process of installing my alarm/stereo but had to put it off a month due to work obligations. I'm installing the Viper 5904 (remote start/2 way paging) but I may decide to leave out the remote start after having read a few posts on how good the Ford PATS system is, I'm still undecided, but my main concern is to have 2 way paging. Cant wait to see Nobusa's video, the more reference material the better. I have a bunch of docs (door pin diode wiring, sensor diode wiring, DEI F150 wire charts, BCM pins and locations and pics to post regarding alarm installs on the F150, which I will post this weekend. From what I understand 2010 and 2011 use different wire colors sometimes but same pins, this I also have to verify. My largest problem due to its size, is how to post the reference material here, maybe I'll just link to a zipped file.

i wouldn't hard-wire the alarm, use a xpresskit like the DBALL instead,
or the EVO All , it has way better install instructions.

here, on frf
i should have it completed by sunday night. im hoping to post the video shortly after.
i will show which wires to tap into but the wiring schematics is priveledged info. the company that provides it does not wish i share online. they have the most info and pictures available and i do not want to go against their wishes. however in the supporting members section i have an in depth wiring section that is available.

Thinking out loud ,I may ditch DEI and go for Fortin EVO ALL
Product ,customer service is better and will give support to
DiY's like some of us, unlike DEI that has no support at all for non
Authorized Dealers.
I will look into UltraStart or CompuStar
Mabey even Excalibur alarm.

I'm looking forward to Nosbusa video being done,
Is what keeping me from changing to fortin and a different alarm,

Ya something weird about that company DEI? I will probably go that route unless you know of something better.
