I don't know if I'm going to be ready or not. Like zero time with coaching duties through state next weekend and then the first meet with my junior olympic kids. Mods almost done on the truck at least, then it's just normal trip prep work!

You'll be fine, we'll have fun either way.

I'm heading to WSI headquarters for Fit up of the Yukon expedition bed rack.

It's still a little early. Started giving it a peek last night. Looks like a storm system moving into the Pacific Northwest around the middle of next week. We'll just have to see if it moves into our area towards next weekend. The pattern is trying to amplify meaning the potential is there for more storms again. Let's hope not but those of us in the Rocky Mtns now how often we've had Memorial Day Weekend storms over the years. I'll look again tonight and then get a better feel when I get back to work Sunday.

After getting Joe's e-mail, I'm starting to get pumped! Let's get this trip started!!!

Weather update:
Still a ways out but it looks like that large storm system over the west may remain fairly stationary through the Memorial Day Weekend. That doesn't mean we'll be high and dry though. I think what we'll have to watch out for is the boundary where a developing moist southeast wind hits the drier southwest wind. Potentially over eastern Wyoming and far Western South Dakota as early as Friday and then continuing over the weekend. Just too early to tell if this will set up over our area producing the risk of strong thunderstorms. I'm working Sunday through Wednesday next week and I'll keep an eye on it.
